About the Founders
Steve and Holly founded Tin Man Ministries in 2012. Their ministry is one that reaches out to women to bring healing and wholeness through the power and love of Jesus Christ.
This ministry's approach is two pronged: Prevention and Restorative. The preventative aspect is implemented through raising awareness, training, and changing public policy. The restorative aspect is implemented through literature, via books, newspapers, blogs, a survivor healing curriculum; and providing safe and loving after-care via our Adopting Daughters program, based on the Safe Families Model. Using this model, women are received by individual families and treated as daughters. It is within this warm and safe environment that they receive healing and wholeness.
The ministry's branch Grace n Glory is a publishing outreach in which books, printed art, tracts and blogs are used to heal, inspire and grow others in their faith in Jesus Christ. Holly is the author of six faith-based books, published via Grace n Glory, and sold at the TMM store and on Amazon. Three of her books are healing tools for survivors of sexual abuse, one of which is her life story. The remaining three books help foster growth in the Christian walk.
Holly is the creator of a curriculum called “Healing Hearts” which takes female survivors of sexual abuse through the healing process in the context of an 8 week home group. The curriculum includes an 8 part video series and Holly's book "The Tin Man." Holly is the senior trainer for the Healing Hearts Facilitator's Training Workshop which is training leaders to facilitate Healing Hearts home groups nationwide.
The Ottens are the proud parents of six children and reside in New England. They enjoy hiking, bicycling and kayaking in their free time.

Holly's Testimony of her Miraculous Healing of Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue
Holly Otten shares how Jesus Christ healed her in a single moment while she worshipped Jesus in song during a gathering of believers. She bore the debilitating disease for 20 months and believed that God would heal her. And He did. Just like He healed King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20.
The scripture in John 10:10 is Holly's favorite verse. "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that they may have life and have it to the fullest." She lives to take back everything that the enemy has taken from her, and strives to live life to the fullest. Her desire is to encourage others to do the same. Holly was a victim of neglect and sexual abuse as a child. In her late teens she opened her heart to the One who is love, and became healed and whole. Her desire is to take the bad that she experienced and turn it into good by helping other victims of sexual abuse, including those exploited by the sex trafficking trade. She desires to see victims become victorious survivors.
